Road Closures (30th June)

Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Rowpit Lane and Riston Road, Catwick (full extents)
Catwick Lane, Long Riston (full extent)

commencing 30 June 2022 to enable carriageway maintenance works to be carried out by East Riding of
Yorkshire Council.

The road closures are necessary to enable e the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public.

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 July 2022.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via:

Dancing Lane and White Cross Road, Long Riston
White Cross Roundabout, Leven Bypass White Cross To Leven Roundabout and Leven Roundabout, Leven
Leven Road, Catwick.

The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The roads will be closed to all traffic but access will
be maintained for residents, the emergency services, and pedestrians.
