Maintenance Work Update

🌿 Community Volunteers Hard at Work! 🌿

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers from the Playing Fields Committee — John Darling, John Sherwood, and Mike Bloede — along with local resident Steve Coupland, for giving up your time today! 🙌

✅ The front hedge at the Village Hall has had a full winter-ready trim
✅ The unauthorised footpath cut through the playpark area has been filled using hedge offcuts — helping us move towards reopening it safely for school use
✅ Mike Bloede also carried out a cut of the playing fields using the tractor and grass-cutting machinery, and attended to hedging around the wider site

All of this makes our shared spaces tidier, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone — while helping keep costs low for the community. 💚

🎄 Plus… the annual Christmas tree will now be easier to see and enjoy!
