Dogger Bank Wind Farm Awards £1,000 Towards New Long Riston MUGA

Long Riston Playing Fields Committee has received another welcome boost for its new MUGA, with a £1,000 grant awarded by the Dogger Bank Wind Farm Operator Fund.

The funding has been awarded specifically towards replacing the existing MUGA with the new all-weather playing area at Long Riston Playing Fields.

The award is being made by Dogger Bank Wind Farm as part of its community commitment, with the Operator Fund overseen by its partner, Equinor.

The new MUGA represents a major investment in the future of the Playing Fields and will provide a modern, multi-purpose facility for the local community, including children and young people, the school, sports groups and other users of the site.

The £1,000 award joins the support received from a number of organisations, grant funders, local groups and individuals who have helped make the project possible.

Long Riston Playing Fields Committee would like to thank Dogger Bank Wind Farm and Equinor for their support and for investing in our community.

Work continues behind the scenes as we move towards delivering the new facility, and we look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
